These include the locations for manufacturing, warehouse storing, transporting, and selling.

*Price

Price is the amount that consumers will pay for an item or service. It involves the ability to maximize the profit the company can acquire. Sales and discounts may mean lesser profits on each item or service, but as part of the price principle, they are strategies to lure a greater number of clients and, thus, increase sales.

*Promotion

Promotion involves relaying information about the product and its availability to targeted consumers. Part of promotion is information on how the product will satisfy the needs of the targeted group of consumers and how they can acquire these items or services. The different ways of promoting a product can include print media, TV and radio advertisements, Internet and social networking advertisements, among others.

Best practices

With all the deceitful companies trying to beat their competitors to acquire the most clients and raise profits these days, it can really be a challenge to determine and use best marketing practices. Deceitful businesses may be at an advantage, but these companies never last long. After realizing the lies that these companies told, their customers never go back to acquire additional product from the same company. Thus, a company has to be transparent and honest from the beginning of its operation. Transparency and honesty are two very important factors to help create a devoted clientele. If your company made an honest mistake, admit it and ask for forgiveness from your clientele. You may even take damage mitigating measures, such as providing a different and new product or service free of charge just so you won’t lose your clientele’s trust.

A full understanding of basic marketing principles and the application of best practices will help you to determine the unique strategy you need to use to make your business a success. Your business’s success is your clients’ interests.
